I like that i can get into a story here cant really go into all this on the website portion. Let's start with our Name, Grimoire Life. My wife and I are both Native and We have a faith that requires a Grimoire or Journal or for this special case, an old school blog. The purpose of a Grimoire is the place your energy into the book and create something to be handed down to your children. In our culture it's a book of lessons and failures and the solutions to those problems or issues.
This company symbolizes everything we have learned in life, whether it's good or bad, it's what built who we are today, and who we are as a company. this company started off as our Ranch Business where we sell our eggs and herbs, spices and veggies. it grew into adding a home baking side for holistic needs and remedies. Then one day my cousin called me and was like, "Dude, you know growers and are in the cannabis industry, right?"
Normally when people ask me or even family I tend to shy away because it's touchy to some people and you never know what they are about to ask you. Because if you know growers, they are the hardest people to sit down for five minutes. May the Gods bless them all but damn it, it's hard to keep someone with all that energy still. Because everyone on them has this energy to not stop moving for a whole grow season.
In this case there was something that felt like it was a good thing. So, I said yeeesss, and she went on to tell me about her Boyfriend who had this Company, and they could take moldy cannabis and make it pass testing. So, I'm from California, where MLM scheme are every day phone calls you ignore. So, I was skeptical to say the least, but I said I'd check it out and see if it was possible. After meeting Brian Wilcox and Brian Slade , i saw the machine, I saw it work and I got a hold of some buddies of mine down at Blue Jay Farms Inc. in Calaveras County and they had us out 2 weeks later. this was July so we had time to kill until harvest.
So, I studied and studied and studied and realized that the indoor method was totally out the window because these machines operate differently every time you run based on many environmental factors that were still unknown in this stage. No one had been able to get the machine outside a lab that could study cannabis. So, after months of planning and studying more than I have in my entire life. From life, I already had an extensive knowledge of molds and fungus because of my own health issue with my own lungs and the last 15 years of research and other various jobs all lead to knowing what I needed to study to properly do this and not screw up millions of dollars in cannabis.
I put together 12 different formulas, all of which had a 4–7-minute variables on time based on the foundation times which arcus found to do the job in hospitals and schools. 12 farms, 12 different formulas, all set. Harvest came and we bled, I cried, a lot. But in a good way. for example. Whiskey Slide Farms, the most beautiful farm we serviced this year. there were some beauties, but Tina and her people have something so dialed in and well-oiled it really did bring tears this year to see the hard work, and everything that went on. Plus, a tear or two when you walk into a room of 1000s of lbs. of cannabis are hanging.
Every time we rolled in, we had security protocol approaching the farms and leaving the farms. During some parts of the season, our men do have the proper CCW and will carry for our safety and yours. We hire 75% Veterans for a reason.
After, months and months of blood, sweat, and tears, we finished the season with 0 mishaps, 0 complaints, 0 out breaks or super blooms. Mission Accomplished. though the months I did a lot of monitoring the flower as it dried, and the raising of the trichomes was the biggest surprise for me to see and that if I ran it a certain way, I could keep them erect all drying session, 5-8 days. I adjusted the formula and dialed it in and now is the moment of truth. it's been weeks.
Emjay BizCon was over, and we were dying on the couch from that damn influenza -A. the fruit of Vegas will be released within the next week by the way. As I lay dying and my flu turns to pneumonia, I get a call, from a farmer we serviced, and he informs me all the testing came back non-discoverable for molds or chemicals or even foreign matter. I had to sit back a moment. couple days later another farm call, and then another and another. All 20+ farms we did came back the same. The discoveries made during the first Grow we did set the groundwork to establish 1 TRUE formula on how to not only remediate all Molds, spores, allergens, and bacteria, But the discoveries made allowed me to calculate the perfect time to run to create a PH level in the air to chase out the bugs during drying, Caterpillars and spider mites, aphids and so on. It also raises the PH level high enough that the trichomes will stay up and not collapse onto the flower creating a frostier look. Now, regarding chemicals, we did 4 farms who didn't flush and pumped their cannabis full to plump them during the different cuts they do during harvest. ALL of the tests not even popping for chemicals.
The formula has been field derived and battle tested and proven to in fact remove the earths environmental flaws in the air, chemicals used, remediated all molds and foreign matter. NO CFU counts to report. Oh, and they tried to get a cfu count by sending in the moly cannabis we had treated and even the cannabis with the mold skeleton on it came back.
This company will be around for a very long time. we will be adding more to the website and the different mini companies within Grimoire Life LLC. I will end the story in the next blog the day the press release drops.
